Diabetes awareness

As promised last month, I have a free diabetes awareness kit for you. I was hoping to have it ready for release today, WORLD DIABETES DAY, but alas, I took on a couple other projects for WWD and didn't quite get this kit finished. I have the kit complete and will share the preview with you, but I need to quality check it before releasing it. Hopefully I will have it for you tomorrow.

March 14-20, 2011 is National Multiple Sclerosis Awareness week, and in honor of that, 34 designers got together to create a mega-kit called "Movement," and then a Creative Team got together to design matching Quick Pages and Templates.

MS stops people from moving, and we're raising money to help the National MS Society make sure that doesn't happen.

This kit includes 190 Papers, 419 Elements, 3 Alphas, and the QP set includes 42 QPs, 1 brag book, and 6 templates.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of this bundle go to the National MS Society, more specifically, Mandy Hornbuckle's BikeMS ride.

If you've ever wanted to create your little one an Alphabet book, these are the PERFECT photo templates to do so. They're also fantastic if you want to combine letters, say, your last name, and create a photo collage. I'd really love to see some hybrid artists do something with these too!

A DT Challenge at Gingerscraps.

I have entered the DT Challenge at Gingerscraps.

Here are the instructions we were given:

This is your week one challenge :)

I want you to make a mini kit using one of these color palettes.
Must include:

6-10 papers
10-15 elements
Alpha-OPTIONAL
Glitter styles- OPTIONAL
For your elements- at least 6 have to be all your design- NO CU (with a few exceptions- see list below) used on at least 6 elements.

CU overlays (for paper of texture on elements)- yes
CU brushes- to add texture (for papers and elements)- yes
CU brushes- to take a brush and turn the "image" from that brush into an element- this will NOT be ok for one of your 6 elements that are no CU.
Shape templates are ok :)

am scared of the dark" he said and promptly sounded the whistle and the train lurched forward again headed for the next station on PLATFORM 6

How would you like to take on an exciting new challenge and become a guest CT for Digi Scrapbook Mania.

Starting Monday, July 13 we will hand out a kit for you to come up with a LO. You will have until Friday the 17th to complete your LO

Our judges will decide who goes on to the next round, which will start on Monday the 20th

The final round will be on July 27th and the 2 winners will be announced on August 2ndIf you think you can handle the following requirments then this is the contest for you....

Kits:- 3 layouts per kit:

each time you download a new kit: you need to do 2 layouts with 100% of the kit and 1 Layout with 50% of the kit

At least 2 kits per month, using a different designer plus the store collabIf you do more, there will be extra goodies just for you!!

Templates: For every template pack you download, you need to do 1 layout per template using 100% of DSM kits

Gallery Posting:- Post each LO at DSM, of course DST 2 other gallery sites of your choice

Linking the credits back to Digi Scrapbook ManiaForum

Participation:

I would like to see you participate in at least 2 of the challenges per month using at least 50% of the DSM kits for your LO's.

Blog: Post your LO's and promote each kit on your blog, linking them back to our store. Promote store wide sales and special events at the forum sign up here and we will put you on the challenge list!!
