A special Summer Blog Hop

Welcome to a special summer blog hop.

Here is my contribution.  I was wotrking on a nice big contribution when I got a call no body likes.  A close friend of mine for the last 35 years was in the hospital and not doing well, and her family had made the decsion to disconnect life support.  I jumped in my car at 7:30 pm that night to make the 8.5 hour drive.  Slept for a few hours and spent the rest of the day at the hospital.  My good friend passed away at 1:04 pm June 21, 2012.

The next day, our niece, granted her aunts dying request and got married.  Her wedding date wa splanned for Juy 21st and the week before my friend (her aunt from her mom's side, I am her aunt from her dad's side) told her she should go ahead and get married as you never know what will happen in the future.  Days later, Cindy was dead.  What a happy occasion following such a somber occasion.

Then, the very next day, my other niece lost her baby (she was about 8 weeks along).  What a very trying few days.  needless to say I was distracted from finishing my portion and all you get this time is the papers.  I head home to TN in just a few hours.  It has been a long, emotional and fun two weeks with my family!!
